This apparatus is used to test resisting shear strength of soil specimen. The direct shear?
apparatus is driven by a stepper motor and controlledby a microprocessor system, with load cell and linear electronic transducers to operate independently to perform standard or cyclic tests, programmable by keyboard input and obtaining all data concerning load, horizontal displacements from the display.
