The find my app shows the stylus's last known location on a map with meter accuracy, as if the pen had been left behind in a cafe or conference room, so Find My triggers an iPhone/iPad notification instantly. Even if the stylus is turned off or the battery runs out, Apple's encrypted Find My network can detect it through nearby Apple devices.

There is an activation lock feature where the stylus stays paired to your Apple ID, which if stolen will activate this feature, making it unusable.
