This series of I/O modules is an essential component in the distributed I/O system. It needs to be combined with a suitable coupler. The system requires the use of power modules to provide 24VDC system voltage and 24VDC field voltage. Field voltage and system voltage are galvanically isolated from each other due to the use of 2 independent power supplies.
