Animal Specimen Introduction 

1. The specimens should be made of crucian carp or common carp with intact fins and normal bone morphology. The body length of the former is not less than 220mm, and that of the latter is not less than 290mm.

2. The operculum and the inferior operculum on the left side of the specimen should be removed to show the lingual arch, the parotid arch, the connection between the shoulder strap and the skull, and the surrounding ear bone. Another segment of caudal vertebra is attached.

3. The specimen was installed and positioned in a natural state, showing the skull, spine, ribs, shoulder strap and pectoral fin bone of the central axis skeleton, the fin strip of the belt and abdominal fin, the dorsal fin bone and the caudal fin bone from the left and right sides.

4. Install the skeleton in situ.
