It uses an embedded system with high performance hardware processing platform, including Mini-Cosmos Management System for viewing of incoming and outgoing staff attendance and temperature summary data in a real-time manner.

Note: This device is not for medical use. The function temperature detection is only used to assist rapid screening. If high temperature is detected, it is recommended to use a medical device to re-measure.

Q1: Does someone need to operate the scanner pad?

A1:The scanner pad is touchless and requires no interaction by an operator. It is handsfree for the customer and employee. The person being scanned only needs to put his/her wrist next to the sensor of the scanner pad for less than 300ms.

Q2: How long does it take to setup?
A2: There is no software configuration necessary. We pre-configure and test the device in our warehouse before it is shipped out.
 
Q3: Can the scanner pad take temperatures wearing a mask?
A3: Yes, the scanner pad can take temperatures with users wearing a mask. It can also be configured to require the person to wear a mask in order to pass the screening and enter the premises.

Q4: How accurate is the temperature scan?

A4:The scanner pad has extremely accurate readings, approximately ±0.2℃.

Q5:How does the kiosk display the results?

A5:The screen will display the person’s actual temperature as well as a green light for a passing temperature reading or a red light if the temperature is above the normal threshold. It can also be configured to send a manager or director of HR an instant email notification of an elevated temperature.

Q6:What is the warranty?

A6:The device comes with a 12-month manufacturer warranty. It covers manufacture defects only.
