Back pressure valve
BPV is used to mount tubing hanger with BPV preparation thread after BOPs’ removal or X-mass tree’s disassembly, and its maximum capacity pressure up to 10000psi.
There are two kinds of BPV, one-way and two-way. The one-way BPV provide circulating drill fluids downwards and shutting off pressure from down hole. When coming to pressure test for X-mas tree under tubing hanger.
BPV adopts special short buttress thread, and it is of high strength, independence, long service time, etc.
BPV could be assembled and disassembled by using its running& retrieve tool to control well pressure effectively and quickly.
