Multihead Weigher Working Theory

The product is fed to the upper storage funnel where it is dispersed to the feed hoppers by main vibrator pan.Each feed hopper drops the product into a weigh hopper beneath it as soon as the weigh hopper becomes empty.

The weigher's computer determines the weight of product in each individual weigh hopper and identifies which combination contains the weight closest to the target weight.The multihead weigher opens all the hoppers of this combination contains the weight.The multihead weigher opens all the hoppers of this conbination and the product falls,via a discharge chute,into a packaging machine or,alternatively,into a distribution system which places the product,for example,into trays.The working principle of the multihead weigher is shown as the following picture:

Application

It is suitable for weighing of granule, slice, roll or irregular shape materials such as cereal, pasta, candy, seed, chips, coffee bean, nut, puffy food, biscuit, chocolate, pet food, frozen foods, etc. It is also suitable for non-food industry such as screws, bolts and plastic components.
