Although we are selling different programmable automatic sewing machine industrial , if our model number is adding a “G” in the end, it’ll be different, such as IH-3020 vs IH-3020G, here IH-3020G is not only standing for 300*200mm sewing area as same as IH-3020, but also equipped gear or belt device to support mid-presser-foot lifting function which IH-3020 has none. Here is how the different is:

As you can see above pictures showing that gear type and belt type are using different mechanical structure to support top-bottom shaft transmission for mid-presser-foot lifting. Of course using belt and motor can achieve more precise and bigger power in presser foot lifting operation than gear and cylinder solution. Though same machine sewing size same mark as G type, there will be 300-500USD/set price difference for two solutions. It depends on your sewing projects: climbing small layer height use cylinder power and gear transmission, and climbing big layer height use motor power and belt transmission. This is very important for single needle sewing machine as automatic solution.
