Product description

Hot-dip galvanizing is a surface treatment process in which steel is heated to around 450°C to 500°C and then immersed in molten zinc to form a zinc-iron alloy layer and a pure zinc layer. The process involves several stages: surface preparation, heating, galvanizing, and cooling. The surface preparation removes oxides to ensure strong adhesion of the zinc coating. The resulting galvanized layer offers excellent corrosion resistance, making it widely used in steel structures, bridges, pipelines, and other applications. Key quality control factors include zinc bath temperature, immersion time, and cooling rate.
