Automatic Pallet Wrapping Machine with Rotating Turntable

The pallet rotates on the turntable while stretch film is pre-stretched and applied to the pallet.

Supply Scope:

1.1 Mast – 1 set

Height: 2800mm, to be designed according to packing height and conveyor height. With film carriage.

1.2 Film Carriage – 1 set

Film carriage on the front of the tower.

Stretch film: thickness 14-35μm, width 500mm, inner diameter 76mm, outer diameter 240mm, max. weight 13.8kg.

Sinolion standard film carriage. Powered pre-stretch film carriage 250% (1:3.5), motor: SEW brand, motor power: 0.37kW.

Film carriage lifting drive: chain driving, good stability and high reliability.

1.3 Turntable – 1 set

Height: 600mm. Diameter: 2000mm.

Conveyor with roller (roller diameter 76mm, driven at max. 18m/min).

Turntable speed: max. 15rpm. Slew bearing driven, max. bearing 2000kg.

1.4 Film Delivery Device – 1 set

After finishing stretch wrapping, the film will be cut and clamped automatically.

Hot melt cutting wire to cut the film, sealing film against pallet with heating block after cutting.

Pneumatic component: SMC brand.

1.5 Control System – 1 set

Sinolion standard control cabinet.

Control system has PLC system with corresponding software package and authorization software. PLC program backup copy and print version of program block diagrams to be provided.

Main equipment of the electronic control system includes: HMI, PLC control cabinet, power control cabinet, inverter cabinet, field control box, emergency stop button, photocell, proximity switch, cooling fans, control switch, lamps and buzzer alarm, etc.

Control cabinet and power cabinet are installed in the control room; operating panel, control box, and emergency button are included.

PLC control system: wrapping layers, wrapping cycles, and top wrapping time can be set on HMI.

Control system can be integrated with customer control system to ensure DMS works smoothly.

Safety commands can be added to the control program; add PLC extension module to ensure machine safety.

Photo eye will detect pallet height and length automatically.

Air resource with single direction valve to stop air release when pressure is not steady.

Driving speed of turntable, conveyor, and film carriage lifting are individually adjustable; film delivery speed is also adjustable; wrapper alarms when film breaks or runs out.

Powered with pause/manual/automatic wrapping switch function for better operation.

Air source required: compressed air shall be supplied by end user to the inlet of the stop valve.

Self-diagnosis system: any failure, alarm will be displayed by acoustic and lighting system.

CPU PLC reserves 15% margin of working capacity; input and output points reserve 15% margin.
