Our PAC products including high viscosity (HV) and low viscosity (LV) are developed by our company. PAC products are special ionic ethers with high purity, high DS. The application results from China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC), China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC), several oil drilling leading companies show that our PAC has excellent performance and stable quality. PAC is a semi-natural polymer and used as additive, thickener and reducing water loss agent. Both PAC-HV and PAC-LV is the key ingredient in the fresh water mud and seawater mud.
PAC-HV/LV is white or light yellow free flowing powder or granule, whose aqueous solution is clear and sticky. As a water solvable polymer, the properties of PAC as followings:
@ Be dissolved in the cold or hot water quickly
@ Act as thickener, rheology control agent, binder, stabilizer, protective colloid, suspending aid and water retention agent.
PAC-HV/LV products are good mud treatment agents for well drilling and can be used as the material for well-completion liquid. It has high rate of slurry-making and shows excellent raising viscosity performance and a good resistance to temperature (150degree). It is suitable to making well-completion liquid with fresh water, sea water or saturated water. When adding the different amount of CaCl2, the well-completion liquid has a certain viscosity and lower fluid loss.
PAC-HV/LV products are in compliance with the standards of OCMA and API.
