AX 409 is a modified polyether type powder form defoamer with high de-foaming efficiency for dry mix mortar system. It is recommended to be used in various applications, such as grouting mortar, self-leveling compound, sealing slurry, prefabricated concrete component, flowable joint filler and other flowing mortars.

AX 409 gives quick and lasting deforming effect in various mortar applications, compatible with various binders and additives such as retarder, expansion agent or accelerator. By adjusting the dosage, the size and distribution of bubbles in the mortar system can be optimized to improve the fluidity of mortar. When adopted in some flowable applications, it can optimize the foaming size and distribution in the mortar system and improve the fluidity of mortar.

The recommended dosage of AX 409 is 0.02~0.2% based on total weight of dry mix mortar depending on applications and determined via test results.

AX 409 is packed in PE lined plastic bag. It is recommended to use the product in rotating on a first in first out basis. The product should be stored under dry and clean conditions in its original packaging and away from moisture, high temperature and pressure. The opened package must be resealed tightly in time after use to avoid moisture intake.?
