Separation principle

PLW (G) centrifuge is driven by two motors,The main motor drives the drum and the outer casing of differential through belts while the auxiliary motor,after the differential shifting speed,drives the spiral propeller,This will make the drum and the spiral propeller rotate in the same direction with a certain differential speed.

Scope of Application

The horizontal decanter centrifuge is used in separating suspension of solid phase with 2~7% solid concentration, liquid viscosity ≤ 0.01Pa·S, particle diameter d ≥ 2μm, in clarifying suspensions with little solids as well as amorphous material that brings difficulties for filtering cloth regeneration and suspensions which have a big change range in solid phase concentration. And the centrifuge is also used in the separating of solid and liquid in the fields of petroleum, chemical industry, food, pharmacy and environmental protection, carrying out dehydration of solid phase, liquid clarifying, liquid-liquid-solid separating, granularity grading and other separating process.
