PC sheet, also called polycarbonate sheet, is an amorphous, odorless, non-toxic, highly transparent colorless or slightly yellow thermoplastic engineering plastics, 0.25 mm thick or more to 5.0 thick plastics industry is called sheet. It is a colorless and transparent amorphous thermoplastic material. Its name comes from its internal CO3 group.

 

Properties

 

1: Excellent physical and mechanical properties.

2: Excellent impact resistance, high tensile strength, bending strength, compression strength; small creep, dimensional stability.

3: good heat resistance up to 125 degrees and low temperature resistance of minus 45 degrees, in a wide range of temperatures with stable mechanical properties, dimensional stability, electrical properties and flame retardant, can be used for a long time at -60 ~ 120 ℃; no significant melting point, at 220-230 ℃ is molten; due to the rigidity of the molecular chain, the resin melt viscosity is large

4: small water absorption, small shrinkage, high dimensional accuracy, good dimensional stability, small film permeability; is a self-extinguishing material;

5: stable to light, but not UV, good weather resistance; oil, acid, not resistant to strong alkalis, oxidizing acids and amines, ketones, soluble in chlorinated hydrocarbons and aromatic solvents, long term in the water is easy to cause hydrolysis and cracking, the disadvantage is that due to poor fatigue strength, prone to stress cracking, solvent resistance is poor, wear resistance is not good.

 

PC sheet is mainly used in: automotive industry and electronics, electrical industry, LCD display and industrial machinery parts, mirror plating, various signs, printing, membrane switches, nameplates, protective masks, can be applied to thick sheet blister machine to do the blister processing, the production of a variety of PC lampshade, PC labeling, protective cover, vending machine panels, light covers and so on.
