FBD Fluid bed dryer is an important for drying powder and granular materials. Bole fluidized bed dryer is made of SUS304 or SUS316L stainless, and meet the requirements of GMP. It is widely used in pharmaceutical, nutriceutical, food, chemical, feed and agrochemical industries.

The working principle of fluid bed dryer is as following:

A bowl-shaped stainless steel chamber with a removable, frequently perforated bottom makes up a fluid bed dryer. The air is introduced through this perforated bottom, and with the aid of heaters, the temperature of the air inside is raised. After filtering, the hot air is allowed to travel through the material bed. The system has a slot for the connection of a fan. The fan starts the air flow and keeps an eye on it. The machine’s operating temperature and air flow can both be adjusted.

With the expansion of the Fluid Bed Dryer bag due to airflow, powder particles begin to move turbulently. Due to constant exposure to dry air, the material becomes dry within. The material that now leaves the system is filtered once more.
